All of our new members go through a series of Element classes prior to entering our normal membership classes. During these Element classes we will introduce safety, exercise technique, and instruct you on processes to make your membership in our program a success.
These are the cornerstone of what we do at CrossFit Independence. CrossFit is a fitness program designed using constantly varied, functional movement performed at a relative high intensity. As a truly functional program, we design our daily workouts to be scaled up-or down-to be accessible to any fitness levels so there no need to “get in shape” before starting our program. If you’re a beginner, we recommend coming three days/week for your first couple weeks, then build to four, then five. Once you’re up to five days per week, we recommend building in two recovery days per week.
If your not sold on the weightlifting training that is involved in our CrossFit group classes, but would still like the motivation and the benefits of having a trainer guide you through your group workouts Boot camp is the high intensity workout that you need.
Our Open gym is for our current members who have a 12x a month full access membership or higher. We do not offer Open gym Program as stand alone membership.
CrossFit Kids is a strength and conditioning program designed to be fun for kids of all ages. Since most parents want their kids to grow up healthy and strong, avoiding the common problems associated with childhood inactivity and obesity, we have made a program which is built for kids of all ages because its universally scalable just like an adult CrossFit program. This makes it the perfect application for any child, regardless of age or experience.
CrossFIt Independence Kids in East Orlando is designed with the best interest of each child in mind. The program can be made easier or more difficult based on each child’s ability. There is no blanket standard program that fits each child. At CrossFit High Performance they are each treated individually allowing them to progress at their own pace but at the same challenged to be better than they were the day before.
There are many misconceptions out there surrounding the use of weight training with children. Below are some documents that support the use of resistance training for children. All support the fact that the use of weight should be under the close supervision and direction. As a advanced USA Weightlifting instructor and Head Coach of the 2013 Youth World Championship Team for the United States, the experience and knowledge that the CrossFit High Performance Kids program is built on is second to none. We have a strong track record of producing healthy injury free kids and athletes.

We firmly believe in incorporating a structured nutritional program along with our fitness or performance programs. If you follow the nutrition program and the fitness program together you will see amazing results. We partner with Renaissance Periodization for specific Nutrition programs.
Our coaches are available for 1-1 Coaching during and outside of the normal class times. If you prefer 1-1 coaching we are available to write you a specific program geared toward your specific goals. We can work with your schedule and find the best times to provide you 1-1 coaching. We can focus on cardio, strength, gymnastics, or general conditioning for Military Boot camps, law enforcement academies, or SWAT Team Tryouts.
